to Announce
Attention fellow Skullspace members,

The board of directors has authorized me to announce that our current
access control board (which reads the fobs and opens the doors) is
nearly at a failure state.

This means that for the time being, members should not leave things in
the space that would be inconvenient to have locked in. Furthermore,
self-hosted events without board involvement right now are not a good
idea.

Some good news:
* after several power cycles this evening, our access control board
started working again, so this advisory isn't that it's down right
now, but that further failure could lock you out at any time

* Thor added a much needed key lock to the existing interior door.
Two members of the board of directors now have the key for that. We
discovered that one other board member still has an exterior building
door key...

* This is short notice, but if anybody urgently needs to come down
between the time of this post and 11:30pm Tuesday Jan 3, Thor will be
on stand-by at the space to help you (call 204-480-4092) if for some
reason we go back into the failure state. (but chances are, you'll get
in yourself)

* Our first Friday event (Jan 6) will probably still go ahead, based
on who has keys and such. We came up with a concept for the event
tonight, which I'll announce tomorrow

Some further information about things will be disclosed in #it channel
on the Skullspace discord, including information about the path
forward on fixing things.
