Tools and hardware go missing all the time in large organizations.  This isn't usually a problem, but then again the hardware doesn't normally come equipped with artificial intelligence and built-in weapons systems.  When Ally Sheedy ( The Pickle, WarGames ) finds a lost robot lurking on her property, she is understandably concerned.  Number 5 has a voracious appetite for input and a surprising amount of charm.  If she can keep this robot from destroying her house, she might have a chance at learning about it's secrets.

Sometimes it just doesn't pay when you bring your personal projects to the office.  A pet project quickly goes south in the worst way for a top level engineer at a robotic fuzz factory.  He is forced to try his project out on the sly.  When Yo-Landi Visser ( Tokolshe, Tommy Can't Sleep ) meets a robot with a curious child-like personality she is intrigued.  CHAPPiE has a voracious appetite for input and a surprising amount of charm.  If she can keep her boyfriend from destroying her new friend, it might just unlock the greatest of all secrets.
