Manage corpus

Dear all,

I have installed a new instance of NoSke successfully. I have compiled a corpus as well via command-line. However, I am not able to manage the corpus through crystal, i.e. all commands such as "Browse", "Make bigger", etc are not available. 

I am aware that NoSke does not have the feature of web crawler (like SketchEngine). But does it also lack the managment of corpus documents (adding/deleting documents, folders)? In other words, should I use NoSke in the collection phase of the corpus?

Dear Abdul,

As my colleague has already replied to you, the Corpus building feature, as well as the Corpus Management menu, are not available in NoSketch Engine. Please find more details about the main differences between NoSketch Engine and Sketch Engine on the following page https://www.sketchengine.eu/nosketch-engine/

If you need to make bigger your corpus, you need to add data to your original vertical file and recompile your corpus using the command-line tool compilecorp.

I would suggest improving the page that you mentioned that details the differences: I thought that NoSke does not provide web crawling only, because the phrase "no corpus building tools" is linked to "create a corpus from the web" page.

I would appreciate it if anyone knows and shares with me other web-based tools for corpus collection with features like: CRUD/uploading documents, convert to vertical format, meta-data editing, etc.
