'Could not load session'-message after starting NoSketchEngine

Dear list members,

I could eventually apply the steps outlined at the site (https://nlp.fi.muni.cz/trac/noske), for installing through unzipping the tarballs, running configure and make. I have also tried adding to .htaccess, the directives to use it without authentication, ie.

    Alias /crystal /var/www/crystal

    Alias /bonito /var/www/bonito

    <Directory /var/www/bonito>
            AllowOverride All
            Options +ExecCGI -Indexes
            AddHandler cgi-script .cgi
    </Directory>

If I remember correctly, the corresponding .htaccess should be placed in /var/www/crystal, in order to control access there. I have 

After restarting apache, I get the attached message writing 'Could not load session', when trying to access http://localhost/crystal

Could you see the cause of it and suggest possible solutions?

Sorry for spamming the list but I thought it is better to say that I have tried to install NoSketchEngine at Ubuntu 22.04
