Behold . . . GURPS Basic Set, Fourth Edition Reviseder!

GURPS fans are excited by the forthcoming GURPS Basic Set, Fourth Edition Revised hardcover and PDF . . . and for good reason! We've revealed a lot of awesome details here on the Daily Illuminator and in the meaty FAQ.

Along with the single-book format and expanded material, one of the most innovative aspects of this book is how we managed to reformat the classic Basic Set into a two-column format while still maintaining all Basic Set page references within the entire GURPS Fourth Edition library. Never ones to rest on our laurels, though, we decided we can go further.

Where the soon-to-be-released 592-page hardcover and PDF is formatted so that there are two columns on one page, we realized we could be more innovative. Thus we announce the even-newer GURPS Basic Set, Fourth Edition Reviseder – spreading ONE column over TWO pages.

Yes, those who have had a chance to preview the coming Revised have marveled at how readable and gamer-friendly the two-column format is. So, logically, if two columns on one page is accessible and easy to read, then spreading a single column across two pages is even easier – makes sense, right?!

Once it's released, you can learn more about how we accomplished this feat in the Reviseder edition by turning your eyes to the Preface and reading pp. 2-3, 2-3, 2-3, 2-3, 2-3, 2-3, 2-3, 2-3 . . .
