An important reminder about list serve etiquette and security

This was sent by someone else to another list that I'm on. I found it to be sage advice in today's world. I thought that I would share with other lists/Google Groups that I'm on.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Some of the people on our list are public employees. This means that their emails -- including emails sent to or received from this list -- could perhaps be obtained through a public records request.  It is possible an agency of the federal government might seek to obtain the emails of a public employee.   Please keep this in mind as you post to our list.
