Environmental friends & colleagues,

Let’s come together to celebrate Earth Day in the company of other environmental activists. Good food, good company and a pretty setting. The forecast is for perfect yard and deck weather. Please just bring yourself, friends or family and maybe a light sweater.

We’ll provide the rest - adult- and child-friendly foods and games, croquet set up for young and old, and a sock-making project that never fails to engage. We're at 1228 E Maxwell Ln (in Bloomington).

Ours is a 1960’s net zero home – over the course of years, we’ve gone solar-powered and all electric. If anyone’s interested, we’ll share a brief slideshow on heat pumps, other high-efficiency electric technologies and the rebates available to make them cost-effective. We’ll also happily show and answer questions about our heat pump water heater, ductless heat pump HVAC system (“mini-splits”) and induction cooktop.

Please drop in at any time for a relaxed evening, 5 to 7 or so.
