We are pleased to announce the release of OpenSurgSim 0.6.0. This
release focused on the features necessary for a surgical stapling
simulator, such as: deformable 3D FEM models, graphical rendering of a
patient arm, collision detection, adding new constraints (staples), and
use of input devices. You can find this example in the Examples/Stapling
directory of the source code. The source code is available at the
