Leadership team,

We are having our weekly leadership team meeting again tonight at 6 PM. You should have the invitation and zoom link from Nick previously.

We are through the brainstorming and organizing stages. We are now in the project achievement phase. We have identified several key projects in recent weeks. To help keep us organized, I want to outline them below, along with the project leaders. These are the things we will be primarily reporting on each week. So, it's critical that you meet with your committees and be prepared to discuss. We need to show weekly progress, certainly prior to the beginning of fall quarter.

Major-mission critical

1.       Nick's operational structure + rollout      (Nick/Dev)

2.       fill out alumni advisor board team + project assignments               (Mike/Nick)

·         capture and engage recent graduates/alumni advisors (Alex and Will groups)

3.       housing                                (Mike/Cole)

·         where will we be in 2024-25 and what rent can we afford/negotiate?

·         How to buy a current house or other?

·         How to make it a better living environment/more desirable

4.       financial assessment      (Nicky/Brendan/Eddie)

·         are we paying too much versus other fraternities and other students?

·         How do we reduce rent and dues?

·         Do we need alumni donations to subsidize (e.g. fundraising)?

5.       Recruitment - must get manpower to 75+            (Mike/Clay/Kyle/Cole/Charlie)

6.       improve candidate experience and retention     (Alex/Luke)

other projects

1.       update vision statements + embrace as our call to action for the next 10 years   (Mike/Cole)

2.       continuous fundraising + special needs                  (Nicky)

3.       update alumni database + communications         (Nick/?)

4.       improve career development/mentoring                             TBD

5.       outstanding IRS issue                                                     (Brendan/Eddie)

6.       new projects?

If we get these things done over the next four months, then we will be massively successful. And we will have proved the success of our leadership team structure for whatever projects come our way next. I see both life and business as just a continuous sequence of projects. Some offensive, some defensive. Unsuccessful people avoid challenges and wait until they become a crisis. But the most successful people I know are superior project designers and managers. Basically, they figure "stuff" out and they get "stuff" done.

Also, please review the attached draft vision statements. We are trying to envision and create level 10 in each area.

We have momentum. Let's keep it moving.
