How do I access my network drives, examgen or office apps from home now that citrix is gone?

Citrix was eliminated as of the 2014-15 school year. It has been replaced by a product called VMware. VMware creates a virtual Windows 7 desktop(just like you are sitting at a random staff station at Shen) on your device (PC, mac, iPad, tablet, smartphone, etc) To use Vmware on those devices you must install the vmware horizon client for that device. Instructions on installing and using vmware can be found in the attached reference.

VMware is NOT needed to access SIS or your email.

Outlook webmail: You can reach your Shen webmail from home by typing http://webmail.shenet.org into a browser tab.

Infinite Campus: You can use SIS remotely by typing http://sis.shenet.org into a browser tab.
