Chrome is opening pdfs in its viewer rather than adobe, how do I stop that?

Chrome is opening pdfs in its viewer rather than adobe. Solution below comes from internet:

 

 

 “I've figured out that if I disable the Chrome PDF viewer under plugins (type chrome:plugins in the browser) I can get it to open PDFs automatically with Adobe again, but this also means that when you click a PDF link online to preview it opens in the Adobe web viewer instead of the Chrome one. “

 

Once you’ve done that and restarted chrome you will have to enable adoble plugin the first time by clicking on puzzle piece in address bar and say allow plugins from what ever the website might be.
