When I first started on the SF Complex discussion group someone posted a link an article about a kind of aerial display system made up of small remote controlled helicopters with an LED attached to them could be made to "fly" a display.

Anyone remember or have that link still?

I've searched for it but can't find it.

I remember writing the comment "wow" when I saw it. The oldest post I can find goes back to one that Owen had about the Lytro camera.

Flying "666" over a fundamentalist Christian sect headquarters...

Flying the North Korean flag over area 51...

A mule over the Republican convention or an elephant over the Democratic convention...

Somebody stop me before the FBI starts asking questions :-)
