Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
- Finals half days (10/9 and 10/10, 12:30PM release)
- Homecoming Dance (Fri, 10/10 6PM to 10PM at SET)
- Thriller Dance lessons every Saturday in the SET garage (10 AM)
- Semester-End Day off (Mon, 10/13)

Finals half days (10/9 and 10/10, 12:30PM release)
It's hard to believe that the first semester is already almost over! We span our finals across two days to ease the stress on our students. On the first day the students will have finals for 1st and 2nd period followed by some quiet study time in advisory, and on the second day periods 3, 4 and 5 will have finals. On both days the school day is over at 12:30 PM. Teachers have until next Wednesday to submit grades, and report cards will be available on the CoreCompetency dashboard by next Saturday. It will be obvious in Core when grades are available but I'll send out an email anyway.
Homecoming Dance (Fri, 10/10 6PM to 10PM at SET)
Tickets have been on sale for awhile and the last day to purchase them is on October 8th. The dance is outside in the front of school. We originally started doing the dances outside at school during COVID and since the venue is so cool, it's turned into the traditional location for homecoming. New students, you'll love it! Thriller Dance lessons every Saturday in the SET garage (10 AM)
You can join any Saturday, but it's a pretty complicated dance so you don't want to leave it too long. The lessons are open to anyone in San Diego, but the reason my wife holds the classes at SET is because her dream is to have the whole SET community participating. Students and parents, help her live her dream! :) Again, I totally understand if you have Premiere League soccer to watch!
Semester-End Day off (Mon, 10/13)
We always have a day off after finals. This semester it falls on Monday, October 13th.
