Power outage resolved.. School still in session

Dear Parents,

We just experienced a power outage that has since been resolved.  We ran a fire drill to make sure that the emergency systems still worked, and were planning to wait it out as long as possible.  The power just turned on so we're all good now.  Had the emergency systems not worked we would not have been able to stay in the building and would have had to cancel school.  Fortunately the backup power systems all worked as designed and we now know for sure that we are safe even in an emergency situation. 

Thank you all for your patience as we waited for a resolution.  I was just about to hit send on my previous update email when the power came back on.
