Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
Sorry, this email was started on Monday, but we have been short-staffed this week and things have been a little crazy. Sorry for not reminding you about the minimum day today earlier. The staff will still be here on campus if you are unable to do a pick-up before 3PM, so no problem there.

Housing Questionnaire
Parents, please fill out the following questionnaire so that we can make sure that we are providing whatever help we can for students who are experiencing homelessness.
Mental Health Services notice
California Assembly Bill 2022 requires schools to notify pupils and parents or guardians of pupils of how to initiate access to available pupil mental health services on campus or in the community. Please see the attached letter to parents regarding the information on how to access pupil mental health services.
Basketball is starting

It's my favorite time of year, Basketball Season!!! Girls and Boys basketball will begin Monday, November 8th. We will be practicing Monday - Friday from 3:30-5:30 at Serra Mesa Recreation Center (9020 Village Glen, San Diego, CA 92123).

Report Cards will be available by Friday (11/5) on CoreCompetency
All final grades have now been submitted by the teachers. We will be storing grades today and report cards will be available in CoreCompetency by Friday (but most likely later today). Please do look at the Report Card grades even if you think you already know your final grade, because teachers do sometimes round up if a student was really close to reaching a higher grade. The most recent report card (and all previous grades, actually) can be found on the CoreCompetency dashboard in the "Most Recent Report Card" section.

MLK day (1/17) is a holiday
We accidentally had the wrong Monday as a holiday on the calendar. We will keep both 1/17 and 1/24 as holidays since we had an extra day of instruction in the calendar in case we needed to take a day off because of COVID-19.
