SET is a Back-To-Back-To-Back California Distinguished School Recipient!

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

It's now official; we did earn another California Distinguished School Award!  Congratulations to the staff for preparing our students, to this year's Seniors for having phenomenal test results last year, and the whole community for helping us get all of the other dials on the California Dashboard in the right place.  This is an honor that the whole school has earned.  Congratulations!

I would also like to talk about the new plaque (photo below) that is hanging outside the front office.  We just had our board chair (Gina Darvas) retire from the board last night and we honored her and all of the other board members who were critical to the revitalization and success of SET.  The plaque reads: Honoring the Board Members whose leadership and courage helped bring SET High back from the brink and secure its future.  With the enduring gratitude of the SET community.  The names are: Anderson Brown, III, Gina Darvas, Tanya DeLong, Leslie Farias, Madeleine Hinkes, Rita Loughrin, Niki McGinnis, and Lavar Watkins.

Thank you to all of these Board Members for their tireless efforts to get us to where we are today!
