Exhibition tonight (Free food! Thanks SET PA!)

This is a reminder about tonight's exhibition.  Note that this exhibition is a gallery walk so you do not need to be there exactly at 5:30.  Your student will be your guide and once you have seen all of the classes, enjoyed some of the common activities (like the Battlebots tournament), eaten some pizza (thank you SET PA for providing the food!), and talked to friends, you are welcome to leave.  30 to 45 minutes is a reasonable expectation for the amount of time that you will spend at school, so as long as you are here a little before 6:30, you should be fine. 

Parking will continue to be a pain because of the construction, so please allow extra time to figure that out.  In you frustration, please avoid using the Bougiemana parking lot unless you are going there afterwards for dinner.  Parking at Cabrillo Heights park or in the neighborhood on the other side of Cabrillo Heights is a good option to just completely avoid the traffic.  We still have another year or so of this construction so please bear with us while we all endure it!

Remember that events like these are designed to be student centric with the student explaining their work.  The teachers are happy to chit chat, but the student should be the one doing most of the talking.  If you have questions or concerns about grades or assignments, please schedule a meeting via email with the teacher for an alternate time.  We want to make sure that everyone gets an opportunity to chat with our staff.

If you arrive early, Ms. J's Econ students will be doing Shark Tank presentations from 4 to 5:30.  You are welcome and encouraged to come into the Den to watch those at whatever time you arrive.

Senior Graduation Info Meeting with Jostens during lunch (Monday, 12/16)

This is where Seniors learn how to order their Cap and Gown, graduation announcements, class rings, etc.  The gown info is mandatory so you need to be there for at least that part.

School Pictures are on Core (read for info about how to download free high-res photos)

If you want to download high-res school photos (last year's, too!), they are on Core.  Click on your student's photo on the dashboard, click on the photo that you want and then you'll see a PhotoFile link at the bottom of the page that will take you to the original high-res version of the photo.  Note that if you download the picture before you click on the PhotoFile link, you'll get a pretty low-res version that won't look good when printed, so make sure that you click on the PhotoFile link.
