The Spring Music Concert is coming up soon; One Night Only! Join us next week in Carrington Hall on Wednesday, April 1, where you can see and hear all of the Sequoia Music Department's performing ensembles take the stage to perform songs such as: Spring Will Come Again, Harmony, Bohemian Rhapsody, In The Hall Of The Mountain King, Mr. Blue Sky and more! The concert starts at 7pm and there is a sliding scale suggested donation of $0 - $10 at the door. FYI: Starting at 6pm: there will be pre-concert food available in the Carrington Hall lobby. Spring is coming up so it’s time to get some spring cleaning done! Bring donations to the SAC and help support our SEQ thrift. Clothing, canned foods, books, DVDs, school supplies, and toys are accepted. Avoid donating broken items, undergarments, clothing with severe stains, torn clothing, or used cosmetics. Whoever brings in the most donations gets a free box of donuts, so be sure to write your student ID or email on boxes or bags! Don't forget that this Wednesday, April 1st, marks the return of our Wellness Fair. In addition to all the amazing mental and physical health resources presented by our community partners, there is something special for all Juniors (no foolin'!). Stop by the tables in the center of the gym to pick up your FREE 1st AID Kit, courtesy of HCA and our sponsors. While you are there, ask our students what they learn in their HCA classes. Sequoia High School Alumni Association Seeking Purple Patriot The Sequoia High School Alumni Association is looking to honor a Purple Patriot and is soliciting nominations for its annual Purple Patriot Award, purple and white being Redwood City's Sequoia High School's official colors. Recipients will receive a framed certificate as well as have their name inscribed on a perpetual trophy on permanent display at the high school. The Purple Patriot Award is an annual award instituted to honor both individuals and organizations who have demonstrated outstanding service or provided a significant benefit directly to Sequoia High School. Nominees may be from Sequoia High School or the community at large. Please indicate the nominee's individual name or organization name, stating why the nominee should receive this award. Indicate specifically what role the nominee played in directly providing the service or benefit to Sequoia High School and explain in detail what the service or benefit was. Asociación de Alumnos de Secundaria de Sequoia Busca Patriota Púrpura La Asociación de Alumnos de Sequoia High School busca honrar a un Patriota Morado y está solicitando nominaciones para su Premio anual Purple Patriot, siendo el morado y el blanco los colores oficiales de Sequoia High School de Redwood City. Los destinatarios recibirán un certificado enmarcado y su nombre inscrito en un trofeo perpetuo que se exhibirá permanentemente en la escuela secundaria. El Premio Patriota Púrpura es un premio anual instituido para honrar tanto a individuos como a organizaciones que han demostrado un servicio sobresaliente o han brindado un beneficio significativo directamente a Sequoia High School. Los nominados pueden ser de Sequoia High School o de la comunidad en general.
