Also in the programme is a free drinks reception sponsored by the
Royal Astronomical Society on the evening of the 23rd (Saturday), which will provide attendees with an excellent opportunity to network with the exhibitors. The reception will also feature a raffle with prizes including a number of signed books and a model of the SKYLON spaceplane, and the presentation of awards for significant contribution to UKSEDS over the last 25 years.
The Conference marks UKSEDS’ 25th anniversary, and to celebrate there will be a special ‘
Birthday Social’ aboard Under The Stars, a boat in Bristol Harbour, featuring a luxury buffet dinner, space-themed cocktails and a special birthday cake. Tickets (£10) can be bought online.
