Q8 SEDS inviting you to participate in the 6th State of the Planet Conference - (www.stateoftheplanet.org).

This is a webcast conference hosted by the Earth Institute of Columbia Univeristy and will cover include 4 sessions: Climate Change, Poverty, Economic Recovery, and International Systems.

When: March 25, 2010 - start 15:00 (Kuwait Time)

As a participant, you can look at the readings online, participate in discussion boards, and e-mail your questions directly to the presenters. During the various lectures on March 25, some of the questions may be addressed.

Speakers include:  Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary General, HRH Princess Máxima of the Netherlands, President Felipe Calderón of Mexico,  Achim Steiner, Executive Director of UNEP,  Ann Veneman, Executive Director of UNICEF, with hosts such as the CEO of Ericsson and Editors from The Economist and many more
