FSRI, NASA, Tuske gee University, and Dynamac Corp. invite
high-performing university students to apply for a limited number of
science and technology apprenticeships at Kennedy Space Center during
the summer of 2006. The opportunities are available under the
Spaceflight & Lunar Science and Technology Program (SLSTP).  This is a
national program, under which FSRI is responsible for soliciting and
supporting the involvement of Florida students. Visit

FSRI and the NASA-sponsored Florida Space Grant Consortium have released
their RFP for the annual Florida/NASA Matching Grant Program, seeking
proposals for seed grants to researchers from academia, industry and
government.  The program funds research and education projects that are
consistent with Florida's priorities for space industry diversification
and expansio n, including projects leading to SBIR awards and projects
that build university-based talent and innovation.  Visit

NASA announces its intent to participate in the 57th International
Astronautical Congress (IAC) and requests that undergraduate and
graduate students respond to this "Call for Abstracts."   The IAC -
which is organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF),
the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), and the International
Institute of Space Law (IISL) - is the largest space-related conference
world-wide and selects an average of 1000 scientific papers every year.
The upcoming IAC will be held October 2-6, 2006 in Valencia, Spain.
NASA's participation in this event is an on-going effort to continue to
bridge NASA with the astronautical and sp ace international community.

The NASA Institute for Advanced Concepts is seeking revolutionary ideas
to advance the Vision for Space Exploration. Interested parties from
outside the agency are invited to submit 2006 Phase 1 proposals by Feb.
13. The focus for solicitations is on revolutionary, advanced concepts
for architectures and systems that meet NASA mission "grand visions."
The institute's intention is to discover ideas that may result in
