SEDS-USA is happy to announce the SEDS 2011 High-Powered Rocketry
Competition. The goal of this competition is to design, construct, and
launch a high-powered rocket carrying a 4 kilogram payload to a height
of 10,000 feet, as measured by a standard altimeter. We feel all SEDS
chapters should have a good fighting chance for this competition,
regardless of their rocket launch experience.

Chapters will be scored on not only whether they managed to score this
height, but also how light they were able to keep their rocket in the
process. Additional points will be also awarded for use of a video
camera as payload.

The competition end date is October 9th, 2011. The winning chapter will
