I was asked to pass this on for any students interested in astronomy. The students at Harvard intend to post one interesting news article per day. Please support them and check it out.
Astrobites is a new daily literature journal aimed at undergraduates
interested in careers in astronomy. It's written by astronomy
graduate students at Harvard University who not only to summarize new work in language familiar to undergraduates, but also provide insight into what it's like to be a researcher in that particular field. This means providing context that scientific papers often take for granted
such as the long term goals motivating the field and how the technical
methods work. Most posts will be brief - reader's won't need to commit more than about 5 minutes per day.
