Hi everyone,

I wish to introduce to your attention this old analogic picture (1999),
that you can see at the following link:

Image Hires:

Photography done by the Flat Field Camera 760mm f/4 on film
Ektachrome E200 120 format (6x7cm), has a elaboration of
yesterday evening.

The apparent circular field is 4.1 x 4.1 while the original
file is 8000 x 8000 pixel resolution at 4000dpi (scan by a
special scanner for large transparent form).
Best regards,

That's nice Danilo!!  I assume by Flat Field Camera you are referring to a Schmidt camera?

Gary: “Flat Field Camera” was the name of a particular model of astrograph made by Lichtenecker Optics in Belgium.

Danilo: Superb shot! Proving yet again that E200 was probably the best colour astro film ever made.  Celebrated for its red nebulae, but good for the whole spectrum too.

Did you need to do much post processing, e.g. for vignetting correction?

Thank you and sorry for delay!

Ray,
Yes, 12% of the field I had to correct the vignetting, but not very heavy

Brian,
at the following link I have given some additional feature on Flat Field
Camera.
I hope it will suffice to understand the type of telescope:
