Good morning,

I have been switching from my C-11 from F/10 to F/6.5 with a Lumicon Focal Reducer and back and forth for film astrophotography. I am currently using Hypered Tech Pan and Fuji 200 color film. An advantage at F/10 is a 35% bigger image but a 2 hour exposure and a limited time window. Exposure at my site for F/6.5 is 90 minutes.  More flexibility, shorter exposure time,  but 35% smaller image.

Any input or recommendations? How critical is image size (in your opinion) when posting images for the web only?

Thanks,

Tony

I would accept the extra 30 minutes of exposure time to get a larger and likely sharper image.
