An overview of observations from Mick’s visits to Primary and Secondary schools across the island. A summary of areas of curriculum development that are working well and those that need to be developed further in the next stage. Mick will make particular reference to the pedagogical and curriculum axis and the need to focus on learning processes in planning and implementation.
Briefing by Louisa Aron: An update on Learning Theory
Louisa will summarise some current ideas about learning theory and how they can be linked to effective pedagogy.
ICM development and roll out: Elaine Chapman (Forest Primary School) and Juliet Ford (La Mare de Carteret Primary School).
An update on the review of the Curriculum framework and the development of the ICM with details of access arrangements and how schools can add to the resources available on the system.
