Every school and pre-school is invited to take part in an island-wide response to The Lost Words by Robert MacFarlane in the autumn term. Each school selects a year group, or a couple of year groups. Pupils are invited to work individually, in pairs or groups of four to choose a 'lost word' and investigate it. Each group would then be asked to make a display that would help the people of Guernsey to become interested and intrigued in the word again.
