Dear colleagues,

It is a pleasure for me to share that Omaira Gonzalez Martin, a member
of our
society, received the award "Distinción de la UNAM para Jóvenes
Académicos" 2021. The award ceremony took place yesterday in the Patio
de la Minería in Mexico City.

We would like to send her our most sincere congratulations and the best
wishes for a scientific career as brilliant as the one she has had so
far.
