Dear all,
The MicroStars project is working on demonstrating current- and next-generation IACTs may become world class fast optical photometers and the first km-scale optical interferometer.
We are searching for promising candidates interested in analysis software development (CUDA, python), IACT hardware and/or stellar astrophysics. Please forward this e-mail to any potentially interested candidate.

Activities will be based at CIEMAT-Moncloa (Madrid), requiring the availability to spend potentially up to one month a year in La Palma (observing shifts, test & integration fieldwork, etc). The candidate should be fluent in English.
We strongly encourage people interested in any of these positions to contact us (see pdf attached). Depending on the candidate profile and needs, we will be able to accommodate salary and contract starting dates (funding secured until mid 2028, contracts could start anywhere between the end of 2025 to 2026).
