Dear ESA Science colleagues and Madrid-area exoplaneteers,

Sent to: ESA Faculty, CAB at Villafranca, Exoplanets WG, SEA Anuncios and previous event participants.

(apologies if you receive this announcement several times)

It is our pleasure to announce ESA's Madrid-Area Exoplanet Science Meeting 2025 (MAESM 2025), now taking place at ESAC, near Madrid, uniting all ESA and Spain-based exoplaneteers for an afternoon of science, discussions, and collaboration. We are looking forward to further strengthen our ties between ESA and our colleagues at local institutes, maximize our joint science output, and enact ESA's Directorate for Science vision of "Empowering Europe to lead Space Science"

The hybrid event will take place at ESAC on
Thursday, 9th of October of 2025 in the afternoon, via WebEx and physically at the ESAC brand new conference room B101. We are excited to invite all our ESA Exoplanet Team members, all interested ESA team members (incl. ESTEC, ESAC, STScI and elsewhere), and all external colleagues from science institutes local to Madrid and/or Spain. Please register if you are interested and forward the invitation to anyone in the area who you think might be interested. We look forward welcoming you all at ESAC!

  • Abstract deadline: 19 September 2025
  • Registration deadline (for non-presenters): 26 September 2025
  • Meeting: 9 October 2025, 14:00 to 18:00, ESAC room B101 and Webex.

We plan a similar event in Holland in the Spring of 2026 (HAESM). Both initiatives, HAESM and MAESM, will continue on a yearly basis. Please contact us directly if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Bruno, Max, Matt and Isa
