Dear all,

Please circulate among your teams and relevant mailing list the following announcement.

 

Two new fellowships are available at INAF/IAPS, Rome, Italy, on the ‘Study of planetary features through models and/or remote sensing/laboratory data”. Tutors: Maria Cristina De Sanctis, Francesca Altieri.

Research will be carried out at INAF-Institute for Space Astrophysics and Planetology (IAPS). The successful candidate will work in collaboration with IAPS staff involved in planetary science studies. The planned activities concern:

-        Data analysis and/or modelling of solar system solid bodies surfaces/interiors

-        Laboratory data acquisition in support of remote sensing data interpretation.

Deadline for application: 1 April 2022

 

Participation to the selection is reserved to Italian and foreign citizens holding the following minimum requirements:

 

-Master degree (or 2nd level Laurea degree, if issued by an Italian University) either in Astronomy, physics, astrophysics, geology, geological science, mathematics, chemical science, or equivalent degree issued according to the previous or actual Italian University regulations which would formally entitle to the admission to a doctorate awarded by an Italian university or by a foreign university

 

-Master degree should have been achieved no more than 4 years before the time of the expiry date fixed for the application to this selection procedure.
