Dear All,

I would like to advertise a PhD position that will be funded through
the ERC Synergy Grant RECAP of which I am one of the PIs.
The PhD project will be focussed on the metal enrichment of the
intergalactic medium studied with quasar absorption spectra, with the
goal of identifiying and characterizing the sources of the reionization
process.

The description of the project can be found here [1].

The successful candidate will work with me and with the RECAP group at
INAF - Observatory of Trieste, and will be part of the international
RECAP collaboration.

The position is open at the University of Trieste, the application
deadline is May 25th 2026.
