Dear colleagues
The pre-registration for the IAA Severo Ochoa Advanced School “Where
skies meet: multidisciplinary views of planet and exoplanet
atmospheres” is now open! The School will take place in Granada (Spain)
from October 19 to 23, 2026. We invite you to pre-register at your
earliest convenience, but no later than May 31st, by filling the form
that can be found in the web page:
https://www.granadacongresos.com/whereskiesmeet
where information about the confirmed lecturers and the topics covered
by the school is also included.
The fee of the Advanced School is 400€, and includes coffee breaks, 3
lunches and a gala dinner on a nice Carmen (typical house in the
Albayzin moorish quartier) with views of the Alhambra.
Please note that the number of attendants is limited due to the
capacity of the room. While researchers at all stages of their careers
are welcome to the school, if needed, preference will be given to early
stage researchers, based on the adequacy of their research
interest/background to the topic of the school. A selection of the
applications will be made no later than June 12th. The selected
participants will then be asked to proceed to the payment of the fee in
order to confirm their participation.
Note also that the Advanced School will host a 1-day Workshop on Venus
analogue exoplanets including invited reviews and contributed talks.
All participants of the school are welcome to attend, and those working
in the field of Venus analogues and willing to give a contributed talk
may also submit an optional abstract.
We are putting together a program of optional social activities,
including a night visit to the Alhambra. Please check regularly the web
page for updates, and feel free to contact us at
wheresk...@granadacongresos.com in case of any doubt.
Looking forward to seeing you in Granada
Francisco González-Galindo (on behalf of the Organizing Committee)
