We are pleased to announce that, for the first time, the KM3NeT and Pierre Auger Collaborations have organized an open call to access KM3NeT
and Pierre Auger Observatory data respectively, with the aim of stimulating and enhancing combined research across different fields for the study
of multimessenger astronomy. This opportunity is open to any external researcher or group of researchers that must submit a simple
application and the access will be granted to some selected proposals on the basis of scientific merit after evaluation by an expert commission.
This is the first call concerning data of these two experiments and there are plans to have further calls in the future.
These calls complete a broader program of calls concerning data of infrastructures operating different types of messengers.
This new opportunity has been enabled with extensive support form the EU in the framework of the ACME project.
The deadline for submission is on May 22nd, 2026, 12:00 UTC. Following proposal submission, a Program Committee will evaluate proposals, with this cycle’s review conducted by a joint KM3NeT+Pierre Auger committee.
Please inform potentially interested people in your local environment or elsewhere about the call.
If you have any inquiries before submission, you can contact the respective collaborations using the contact emails provided in the description of the calls.
Best regards,
Enrique Zas on behalf of the IGFAE ACME team
