Dear colleagues,

This is the first announcement of the Special Session (SS7) – Mind the gap: Bridging resolved and unresolved HII regions in star-forming galaxies, to be held over three blocks on June 30 (Tuesday), 2026, under the aegis of the European Astronomical Society (EAS) Annual Meeting (29 June – 3 July 2026) at the SwissTech Convention Centre, Lausanne, Switzerland. The deadline for abstract submission is March 3, 2026. We welcome participation and contributions from colleagues at all career stages.
