Dear SCSMI Members:

I’m pleased to circulate the CFP for the annual Music and the Moving Image conference, scheduled for May 29-31, 2026, at New York University. The deadline for submissions is Dec. 15, 2025. Details can be found in the attached file or on the conference website.

The conference has a well-earned reputation for sustaining a supportive and collegial atmosphere, and we actively welcome abstracts that reflect approaches consonant with the work of SCSMI members, e.g., cognitive psychology, the philosophy of mind, empirical aesthetics, and so forth.
