Dear SCSMI friends,

The Eye film museum of Amsterdam, together with the University of Amsterdam and Utrecht University, is organising an international conference for film scholars and professionals on May 31 and June 1, focussed this year on "The Future of Film Programming". As this theme intersects with the work of several in our community - and many of you will already be in Amsterdam in early June for our own conference - I am sharing their call for proposals (attached; deadline December 14). We will also be collaborating with the Eye for several activities during our SCSMI conference, and hope these two events will help connect scholars from our community with experts in film preservation and restoration at one of Europe's leading film archival institutions.
