2025-2026 Camping Schedule

Hello All,

My last email has a formatting Error this email replaces it. 

The PLC met this past week and has adopted the schedule for camping and events this year it is at the end of this email thread.

All events will be on the calendar on scoutbook and allow you to RSVP to sign up.

Also starting in September we will be transitioning to Scoutbook for all troop emails, text messages and reminder emails.

The scout book system allows us to have better record keeping and event sign ups. Also it will limit text messages about camping trips to just those who are on the trips. Finally it automates reminder emails for everything on our calendar.

We will be sunsetting both the remind app and the Gmail emails for troop communications in October. Some of you are set up for to not receive texts or emails from scoutbook. If you any questions I can send you an goby to change those settings.

Sep 19-21 - Camp Acahela 6pm @ Camp Acahela - Kayaking from Acahela to the Francis Walter Dam.

Oct 10-12 - Elk County Trip 12pm @ Hicksrun Outfiters - Elk Watching

Oct 24-26 - Harvest Fest 6pm @ Camp Acahela - Haunted Campsite

Nov 14-16 - Minsi Trails 6pm @ Camp Minsi - Backpacking around Camp.

Dec 06 - Moffit Estate Christmas Part 11am @ Moffit Estate Covington

Jan 16-18 - Resica 6pm @ Resica Falls - Winter Cabin Camping.

Feb 06-08 - Klondike Derby 6pm @ Goose Pond

Feb 21 - NYC Trip to the Museum of Natural History

Mar 13-15 - TMR Backpacking 6pm @Ten Mile River Scout camp

Apr 17-19 - Treasure Island 5pm @Treasure Island 

May 15-17 - District Camporee or Scout craft at Goose Pond 6pm @ Location was not specified
