New Military Family Fee Waiver
Scouting America is proud to support military families through the new Military Family Fee Waiver. Effective June 1, 2026, the program waives the $85 national youth registration fee for new and renewing youth members whose parent or guardian currently serves on active duty, in the National Guard, or in the active Reserves.
Parents and guardians of eligible Scouts are encouraged to contact J Croom at JCr...@scoutingtroop132.org or 570-499-8855 to learn more about the program and receive assistance with registration.
Financial Assistance Available
Financial assistance is available for families who may need help covering a portion of their Scout’s annual dues or uniform costs. If assistance would be helpful, please feel free to complete the form linked below and return it confidentially to J Croom or Chris Yevitz. They will sign and process the form.
All requests will be handled confidentially and respectfully.

La Festa Parking Lot
We will once again operate a parking lot during La Festa Italiana to raise money for individual Scout accounts.
Dates: August 4–7
Shift length: Two hours
Each time block must be staffed by at least four adults representing at least two families. All participants must be 18 or older; Scouts and other youth may not work in the parking lot.
The sign-up chart contains 76 individual volunteer slots. At the end of the weekend, the proceeds will be divided evenly among those 76 slots. Each family will receive credit to its Scout account based on the number of slots it completes. For example, a family that fills three slots will receive 3/76 of the proceeds.
In previous years, each slot earned a little more than $30. This year’s amount may be higher or lower, depending largely on the weather.
Please enter only one adult’s name in each box. All volunteers must register through the sign-up sheet; sign-ups will not be accepted by text or email.

Mums Fundraiser
For every $13 mum sold, $6.50 will be credited to the Scout’s account. There is a hard deadline to turn in money on Tuesday September 1st. The order must be placed with Corky’s on September 2nd. There will be no extensions. You will receive a voucher to give to your customers that they can take to Corky’s in Scott Township to pick up their mums. We will be doing this in conjunction with Pack 126.
Parents Meeting
We will be having a parents meeting on Wednesday September 9th Maple Lake Church at 7:30pm Please mark your calendars. Parents are required to attend. We have a lot of information to go over that night.
Troop Meetings
We will be starting our Troop Meetings backup on September 2nd. One Change this year is the closing process will begin at 8:30pm. The plan is to have everything wrapped up no later than 8:45 every week. Please be there to pick up your scout by 8:30pm. We need to be out of the church no later than 9 pm every week.
Troop Store
Looking for Class B shirts for the summer please follow the link and order today. These shirts take time, don't wait until the last minute. We have combined both units into 1 store. Just be sure to choose your Troop number when ordering.

National is holding a uniform sale! See the coupon below, and ask about the promotion when you visit the Council Service Center or the national website to purchase Scouting uniforms.
Troop Court of Honor
We will be having our summer camp Court of Honor on September 30th. Our location is TBD. Please plan on attending. We will be handing out all merit badges, rank advancement , and any pictures that were ordered. More details coming soon.
