to Troop 1132 Members, mem...@scoutingtroop132.org, comm...@scoutingtroop132.org

This weekend Troop 132 competed at the Klondike Derby.  Our Scouts did very well and held their own against some tough competition.  They were in contention right until the end.  The most important thing was they all had fun competing.  I am very proud of them.  We have a parents meeting scheduled for Wednesday night for all of our AOL crossover parents.  This meeting is open to anyone parent of a scout in the troop as well.  More info below.  I also want to mention that now is the time to start planning for summer camp.  Deposits are now due.  If your scout wishes to go to summer camp please send in a deposit to reserve their spot.  We also need to start getting updated health forms.  Scouting America health forms are only valid for 1 year from the date of the doctor's signature.  Please start looking to get these updated for your scout.  More info below.  Scout night at the Penguins payment is Due by March 11th.  We need as many kids from the troop there as we are apart of the opening ceremony.  Please make get every effort to attend.

Troop Records update

You may have received a message that you were removed from our Remind group.  Please do not be alarmed as we are updating our records.  You are not being removed from the troop.  You will receive a new invite to the group soon.

Fundraiser

We will be starting a candy bar fundraiser this week.  In order to get a box of candy you either need to have $48 in your scout account or write a check to the troop as collateral for the box of candy.  This is to ensure payment for the box of candy.  Unfortunately in the past the troop has had to pay for boxes that were taken but never paid for in the past.  If you wish to sell candy bars please send in $48 or check to make sure you have enough in your scout account to receive a box to sell.
