Troop 132/1132 Updates week of 4/12

On April 15th we will be having OA elections, it will be a Class A uniform night. All Arrowmen under the age of 21 and registered to our Troop are eligible to vote. We must have 50% of all registered scouts to be present in order for the vote to take place. Please make sure all scouts are present that night. Meghan Gownley is working on her Eagle Project and has a list of items she can use. I have attached it to this email. We will be collecting items through the month of April. Our campout for Camp Acahela will have drop off and pickup at Camp Acahela. We will not be using the church. Eagle banquet registration forms are due on Wednesday April 15th. I have attached the flier to this email. Summer Camp payment and Health Forms are due now. Please don't wait until the last minute. Beef Sticks are in anyone that ordered them they will be available Wednesday for pickup.

Fundraising
- We will be starting another fundraiser with a deadline of April 29th.
- What : Applebee's Burgers for a Cause
- Cost: $13
- Order forms are attached. This works just like Krispy Kreme fundraiser where you take preorders and collect the money. There is a minimum of 100 certificates that must be sold. If we do not meet the minimum we will not be able to participate. Please sell sell sell. $9 from each certificate will go to your scouts account. This a good fundraiser to make a last minute effort to offset the cost of camp.
Swim Test
When: May 20th
Where: Carbondale YMCA
Time: 5:30-7:00
This is the annual swim test for summer camp. Please make every effort to attend if you are planning on going to summer camp. More details to come.
Troop Records update
You may have received a message that you were removed from our Remind group. Please do not be alarmed as we are updating our records. You are not being removed from the troop. You will receive a new invite to the group soon.
Service OpportunityEvery scout needs to do service for their rank. We have some opportunities coming up in the Spring. Time and location will be announced soon. If anyone is looking for a small project to do on their own please see Mr. Flannigan.April Campout- April 17-19

We will be meeting at camp Acahela at 6:30pm in the parking lot. Pickup will be at 10am on Sunday in the Acahela Parking lot. Pickup is and dropoff is not at the church!!!Summer Camp 2026
It’s not too early to start thinking about Summer Camp 2026. We will begin collecting deposits in January 2026.
- Cost: For Scouts $455 before May 15th - $485 after May 15th
- When: July 12th to July 18th
Medical Forms
Medical forms are valid for one year only. If you plan to attend summer camp, you will need a current medical form that has not expired.
Summer camp requires Parts A, B1, B2, and C, along with a copy of your health insurance card.
Please do not wait until the last minute to submit updated forms.
