It has been a busy week with alot going on with the troops.  WE just got back from a great weekend of camping at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation.  The kids had a blast and are asking when we can go back.  We worked on scout skills, played some games, and built trust/teamwork within the troop.  I am very proud of how close they are all becoming.  I am looking forward to the next campout.  Penguins game we will announce the time of arrival on Wednesday as well as hand out tickets.  This is a Class A uniform event.  Please start planning on Summer camp.  The payment window is now open and ends on May 13th.  WE are also collecting Medical forms.  They are also due May 13h.  Please start planning on getting those handed in.

  • Wednesday, March 25th - Regular Troop Meeting - Class A Uniform

  • Wednesday, April 1st – Regular Troop Meeting - Class B Uniform - PLC @ 6:30

  • Wednesday,  April 8th -Troop Meeting - Class B Uniform

Parents Meeting

When:  April 1st @ 7:30pm

Where:  Maple Lake Church

This meeting is mandatory for parents to attend.  We will be talking about summer camp 2026.  Even if your scout has attended in the past you still need to attend.  Please mark your calendars.  There is a lot of information that needs to be discussed as well as hard deadlines that need to be met for payments as well as medical forms.

Troop Records update

You may have received a message that you were removed from our Remind group.  Please do not be alarmed as we are updating our records.  You are not being removed from the troop.  You will receive a new invite to the group soon.  

Service Opportunity

Every scout needs to do service for their rank.  We have some opportunities coming up in the Spring.  Time and location will be announced soon.

Scout Night at the Penguins
  • Date:  March 28th
  • Class A uniform required
This is a reminder for everyone that registered to attend. We have once again been invited to hold the large flag on the ice during the National Anthem.  All Scouts and leaders must be in Class A uniforms to participate.  We will be meeting early to practice.


April Campout
  • April 17-19
  • Where:  Camp Acahela
  • Cost:  $25
  • Deadline to Register: April 8th

Summer Camp 2026

It’s not too early to start thinking about Summer Camp 2026. We will begin collecting deposits in January 2026. 

  • Cost: For Scouts $455 before May 15th - $485 after May 15th 
  • When: July 12th to July 18th

Medical Forms

Medical forms are valid for one year only. If you plan to attend summer camp, you will need a current medical form that has not expired.

Summer camp requires Parts A, B1, B2, and C, along with a copy of your health insurance card.


Please do not wait until the last minute to submit updated forms.
