I hope everyone is having a fun Memorial weekend. We had an action packed week. We had our summer camp swim test, a new Eagle scout, and placed flags at St. Catherine’s Cemetery for Memorial Day. Thank you to everyone who came out to participate. This week will be our last regular meeting for the summer. I will continue to update everyone weekly on upcoming events the troop will be participating in. We will be having our end of year celebration at Camp Jubilee on June 3rd. The troop will be providing hot dogs and we ask everyone to bring a covered dish if they would like. A signup sheet will be coming out later this week. Medical forms for summer camp are due this week. Please get them in. Any scout 14 years or older our council is looking for help staffing Parent/Pal as well as Day Camp in August. Please see Mr. Flannigan ASAP if you wish to help out. We will be participating in the Moscow parade on July 24th. Please mark your calendars there will be more info coming soon. If you need Class B shirts for camp please visit our troop store to order them. The link is below. Please allow enough time for them to be made. The closer we get to camp the harder it will be for them to complete your order in time.

Summer Camp 2026

Date: July 12th-18th
Location: Goose Pond
Cost: $455 by May 13th

Do not wait until the last minute. Health forms are also due by May 27th. Parts A, B1, B2, and C as well as a copy of your scouts health insurance card. The scout CANNOT attend camp without this paperwork. We need time to go through the forms to make sure everything is filled out properly so they do not get turned away at camp. Also, your scout cannot register for summer camp merit badges or special programs until payment is made. There are classes that have a cap on how many kids can participate.

End of Year Party

When: June 3rd
Where: Camp Jubilee
Time:7PM

The Troop will be providing Hot Dogs. If you would like to bring a side dish to share please let your Scoutmaster know. Families are welcome to attend. We will be doing our end of year Awards ceremony.

Summer Camp 2026 Meeting

When: June 24th
Where: Covington Park
Time: 6:30pm

All scouts attending summer camp are required to attend this planning meeting. Also, parents of scouts attending camp are required to be in attendance. We will be going over camp policies and everything your scout needs to have with them for camp.

Medical Forms

Medical forms are valid for one year only. If you plan to attend summer camp, you will need a current medical form that has not expired.

Summer camp requires Parts A, B1, B2, and C, along with a copy of your health insurance card.

Please do not wait until the last minute to submit updated forms.
