State of the current credmon + documentation?

Hi all,

Coming up for oxygen after a proposal submission yesterday...

What's the state of the current credmon and documentation?

Looking at the credmon webpage:

It still appears fairly hacky (installing directly from git master)
and it's not completely clear that an outsider could follow it
end-to-end.

Can we spend a few hours on documentation and get closer to a clean
install? That is, I want something that looks more like sysadmin
documentation (install this that or the other RPM, not pulling from
source) and have a sysadmin from outside our group review the docs.

From the concurrent thread with Duncan, seems the technical pieces are
starting to fall in place. I'd really like the packaging and polish
do just as well!
