It's the 2026 Milan Flyers Open House!

The Milan Flyers Open House is Saturday, June 27th from noon to 5pm (of course - it will most likely end at dusk).
Everyone is invited to this fun filled family event.
This is our opportunity to show off the hobby to our friends, family and the general public.
We will have our ground school including:
- Station Checklist
- About Flight
- Safety
- Controls/Pre-Flight Check
- Simulator
- Apprentice Flight with one of our trainers
- Check list is turned in for a certificate of completion and wings.
Guests will also enjoy static displays of aircraft, demonstrations of many types of RC aircraft to include planes, helicopters, and multi-rotors (drones).
Free hotdogs, chips and water while supplies last.
We only have a few picnic tables under the pavilion, so please to bring your own lawn chairs, as well as bug spray, and sun protection and gear if you have it and be ready to have some fun! Feel free to bring your own canopies and tables, too.
We can always use extra help. Just let me know!
Members: Here is who I have that volunteered at the last meeting - We can use help with everything:
- Road Signs: Ron has them.
- Not sure if team, Ron, Cindy and Dave E are able to do it this year.
- Set-up: please show up around 11am.
- Clean-up
- Greeting:
- If all members could make sure that all of our guests are welcomed and informed/directed to the educational displays, Sim, flight training, food, etc.
- Educational displays: Walk guests through the information on flying & safety, the simulator, and to give it a try.
- Simulator:
- Training:
- Demo's: Will be creating a list of those willing to demonstrate in between new flyers. Let me know if you are interested.
- Food: Helping with the grill, if needed
- Taking pictures and videos: (Everyone) I hope to have a link at the event to our Google Photos where you can easily upload.
We can use everyone's help passing the word. It seems that our printer issue is fixed. If you want to come pick up some flyers call Heather 734-255-5146. (Carpenter Rd & Ellsworth)
