Summer Training: Join our Wednesday Night Crew! ✈️

Hey Scio Flyers,

As we discussed at the annual meeting, we’re gearing up for a great summer of Wednesday evening flight training. Our goal is to have a dedicated group of trainers at the field each week, ready to help new pilots take to the skies.

The Team So Far Ted Maswon has stepped up to coordinate the program. So far, Jerry Hartman, Ken Jablonski, Jim Hartwell, and Ted have volunteered. I know a few others raised their hands as well—sorry if my memory is a bit fuzzy on the names!

Standardizing Our Gear To make things easier for our students, we’re standardizing on Spektrum transmitters this year. If you want to help train but don't have the gear, don't sweat it—the club will purchase the necessary Spektrum equipment for you.

How We’ll Coordinate We are looking for the easiest way for trainers to "check in" each week so we know who is coming. We are considering:

• Google Calendar RSVPs (Just click "Yes" or "No" on the invite)

• A Shared Google Sheet (Put a quick "X" next to your name)

• A Google Form (A simple weekly check-in)

If you have a preference for one of these—or a different suggestion—let us know!
