Reminder: Swap Meet Prep & Annual Membership Meeting Tomorrow!

Hi Scio Flyers,

This is a friendly reminder that our Annual Membership Meeting and Toledo R/C Swap Meet prep day is happening tomorrow, Saturday, March 21. This is a major effort for our club, and we would love to see a great turnout to help us get everything ready for the expo on April 10 & 11.

Donations Reminder

If you have any "gently used" R/C items you'd like to donate to the club for resale, please bring them with you to the meeting.

• Early Bird Bonus: Anyone helping with organization and pricing will get the first opportunity to see (and buy!) the donated gear before it goes to Toledo. Bring your checkbook just in case you find a "must-have" item!

Saturday Logistics & Schedule

We are still looking for volunteers—especially those with trucks or SUVs—to help move gear from Ken Jablonski’s hangar and organize it for the meet.

• 11:00 AM – Hangar Load-Up: Meet at Ken’s Hangar at Willow Run Airport to help transport gear to the Township Hall. Use this for precise directions.

• 2:00 PM – Annual Membership Meeting: Join us at Scio Township Hall (827 N Zeeb Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103).

• Post-Meeting – Organizing & Pricing: Immediately following the meeting, we’ll organize the gear and move it to Ken’s home garage for storage (located less than two miles from the hall).

We don't have a formal sign-up sheet, so please just show up ready to pitch in! This effort directly supports our club activities and STEM programs.
