Dear Sunday School community members,
Our new school year is fast approaching and we are looking forward to seeing you all in September! Please continue reading for important updates, reminders, and volunteer opportunities for this upcoming school year.
First, we are excited to welcome new students soon! We are piloting a new program this year in order to include everyone who wants to stay in touch with our Serbian heritage, regardless of their knowledge of the Serbian language. See the attached flyer and make sure to scan the QR code for more info! Please, help us to share this information!
On that note, we are looking for more volunteers to help out in our *new* program. If you are interested in volunteering as a teacher (regular or substitute), or are interested in helping with our events and workshops, please join us on August 22 at 7 pm on Zoom to learn more about volunteer opportunities! Please reply to thе emailstsava...@gmail.com to let us know that you're interested and we can share the Zoom link with you. Also, please share this with anyone you think might be interested!
On Saturday, August 23rd at 10 am, we are looking for volunteers to help assemble new furniture that arrived for our newly remodeled classrooms! If we have enough volunteers, we will also use this time to clean up the playground before the new school year starts. Any help is more than welcomed! Finally, our Back to School movie night & parents meeting is on Friday, September 12th. Time is still TBC and more information to come. And mark your calendars for our first day of classes on September 14th.
