CHURCH CONSTRUCTION UPDATE & NEWS
yesterday, immediately after the Divine Liturgy, I invited all present parish members to go over to the new Church to see how the recent construction progress looks like. This surprise was received with great joy and excitement and the parishioners entered the church, while our choir beautifully sang the Troparion to St. Archangel Michael.
Our board member Rob Adzich, who supervises the construction, gave an update about the past achievements, challenges, and next steps of this construction phase. Further, he explained that the scaffolding will be set up very quickly so that the dome and ceilings also could be reached and finished. The plasterwork which will follow needs to be applied by hand. That is why the costs of this phase are so high. I thanked Rob for his efforts in overseeing diligently the construction.
I also thanked all members for their donations and asked all to support the fundraiser as we still have to raise $96,500 for this work. Please help us to finish the church. If we all do what we can we will reach the goal. Thank you!

Драги парохијани,
јуче после Св. Литургије сам позвао све пристуне парохијане да погледају напредак радова у нашој Цркви. Ово велико изненађење је прихваћено радосно и парохијани су уз хорско певање тропара Св. Архангелу Михаилу пошли у храм.
Наш члан управе Роберт Аџић, који надгледа радове је објаснио завршене радове, постојеће изазове и будуће радове, објаснивши да ће врло брзо бити постављена скела да би се и плафони и куполни део храма завршавао. Малтер ће се наносити руком и то је један од разлога високе цене ове фазе радова захваливши се на стрпљењу наших парохијана.
О. Видо је захвалио Роберту на његовом великом труду у надгледању радова и учтиво замолио све присутне да помогну својим прилозима преостала средства у висини од $96,500 за завршавање ове фазе конструкције. Слава Богу за све!
