Clean Up Day News

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

 

We had a very successful clean up day with over 30 parishioners who came to help!  The day started with Tanja Vrcelj providing refreshments including coffee, juices, bagels and fruit.  As volunteers arrived they were given duties such as window cleaning on the hall and church, cleaning the inside of the church, cleaning and organizing the Sunday School classrooms, storage area above the bathrooms, janitor/ maintenance closet under the stairs, and stage.  Some exterior cleaning was also done, and Robert Komenovich and Miroslav Arsenic worked on installing a drain in front of the church to divert rain water.  We were able to get a lot of things done that had not been cleaned/organized in a long time and were in need of attention.  We accomplished everything we were hoping to get done and most of the volunteers were finished by 1:00pm.
